When you think of tequila the first brand that comes into your mind is Jose Cuervo!
And you’re definitely in for a good time, especially when Jose Cuervo is in the name of the bar. JOSE CUERVO TEQUILERIA located in Poblacion is a festive establishment serving premium Jose Cuervo tequilas, classic Mexican snacks, and large margarita concoctions.

Jose Cuervo Tequileria is located at 5015 P. Burgos Corner Durban Street, Poblacion, Makati.
The place was screaming Mexican all over! With festive walls painted with murals, decorated with mostly wooden interiors, as well as Mexican flags, hats, and ponchos where customers can try on.
The place was plastered with Jose Cuervo branding here and there!
There was even a corner set-up for a live band.
The bar was a dim kind of place, open air but with AC provision, that caters mostly to expatriates working in Makati.

Make sure to take advantage of their Buy 1 Take 1 Jose Cuervo signature drinks, tequila, cocktails and of course the margaritas!

For the margaritas, I loved the strawberry version, a flamingo-pink concoction, that’s sweet but not too sweet.

But if you want something simple, the classic margarita is also good.
Rolled Corn Tacos (P240)
For starters order the crunchy rolled tacos for something fun and filling.
Quesadillas (P310)
Grilled Tortilla filled with three kinds of cheese, pico de gallo and pollo asado (marinated grilled boneless chicken).
The zesty chicken was a tasty delight when mixed with cheese and stuffed in a tortilla.
Burritos (P395)
Flour Tortilla filled with carne asada (marinated grilled beef strips), refried beans, Mexican rice, cheese and pico de gallo.
I liked the way the fat burrito was wrapped tightly. The roast beef and rice were both flavorful and complemented each other nicely.
Jose Cuervo Tequileria was able to live up to the name, making it the perfect partner for the best tasting margaritas and cocktails. The food was far from perfection, but they make a good bar chow to pair with beer, tequila or rum.
